Jakub Woynarowski, visual artist (Poland)

Graduate of and lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. Interdisciplinary artist, designer and independent curator. Creates projects straddling visual theory and practice. His subjects are linked to institutional criticism, the archaeology of the avant-garde and post-humanist philosophy. Co-author of the books Wunderkamera. Kino Terry'ego Gilliama (“Wunderkamera. The cinema of Terry Gilliam”) and Corpus Delicti. Author of the graphic novels The Story of Gardens (2010), Nietoty and Martwy sezon (“Dead season”, 2014). Member of the Korporacja Ha!art editorial board. Designer of the artistic exhibition at the Polish Pavilion at the 4th Architecture Biennale in Venice. 2014 winner of the Polityka Passport in the visual arts category.
