Krzysztof Miller, 16-time Polish platform and spring board diving champion, and since 1989 a photojournalist with Gazeta Wyborcza daily. He has photographed wars and transformations all over the world, from Chechnya to Afghanistan. From the break-up of the Soviet Union and the birth of new states after the disintegration of Yugoslavia to the effects of the wars in Central Africa (Rwanda, Burundi, Congo, Uganda). A member of the World Press Photo jury in 2000, in 2013 he published the book 13 wojen i jedna. Prawdziwa historia reportera wojennego [13 Wars and One. The True Story of a War Reporter].
