Architectural and Urban Photography Workshop – Interventions | 6–7.06.2015
Sat.-Sun. 10.00-16:00
photo: Maciej Stępiński
The workshop will feature a short lecture and a review of submitted portfolios. The next part will be made up of practical classes – in particular defining, locating and finally taking photographs of places, where contemporary architecture is replacing the historical or empty spaces. At the end, participants will discuss and evaluate the best photographs taken during the workshop.
Urban expansion absorbs natural spaces or transforms and redefines the existing ones. The process may be discreet, with new buildings complementing the surrounding context, but more often it is a brutal intervention violating the harmony of a given area.
